Why did the Ahmedabad Plane Crash

Investigating Directions

The exact cause of the Ahmedabad plane crash is yet to be determined, but preliminary investigations have revealed some potential reasons. The crash resulted in the loss of 265 lives, with only one survivor.

Video footage suggests the plane was flying at a low altitude with its landing gear still extended, which is unusual. Typically, the landing gear is retracted shortly after takeoff to reduce drag and allow the plane to climb properly.

Experts are also considering the possibility of both engines failing simultaneously, which could be due to fuel contamination or mechanical failure.

The plane was carrying a large amount of fuel for its international journey, which exacerbated the fire after the crash and complicated rescue efforts.
